Later this week, we expect to finally get the results of the so-called audit that Senate Republicans have been conducting of the 2020 election in Maricopa County for months.
Senate President Karen Fann announced she will release initial findings of the report from the firm Cyber Ninjas on Sept. 24.
Now, let’s take a look at the man behind the audit — Doug Logan, the CEO of Cyber Ninjas.
Jen Fifield covers Maricopa County for the Arizona Republic. She and reporter Zac Anderson with the Sarasota Herald Tribune spent months learning about Logan and recently released their lengthy story.
Until he thrust himself into the center of the controversial effort to root out fraud in Arizona’s election, Logan was unknown in the political sphere. In fact, his friends told Fifield he wasn’t even all that political before this. More important to him is his faith, Fifield reports.
It remains unclear how Logan — a family man with 11 children from rural Florida — ended up leading efforts to unearth the kind of fraud supporters claim lost former President Donald Trump the election.
But we do know something about Logan himself.
The Show spoke with Fifield about what she discovered during her reporting.
