Temperatures in the Phoenix area are expected to drop for the better part of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
NWS Meteorologist Isaac Smith says Valley residents aren’t likely to see triple digits in the coming days.
He says temperatures will be, “Basically, staying at upper 80s to low 90s through much of the new work week.”
Smith says there is a chance of rain mid-week, as a weather system passes through the Phoenix area.
Forecasted highs are expected to return to the mid-90s by Sunday.
