Poll: More Arizonans Not In Favor Of Limiting Abortion Rights

A new poll by OH Predictive Insights show majority of Arizonans are not in favor of the bill limiting abortion rights. The survey of 822 registered voters displayed Arizona's direction of becoming a purple state by agreeing that abortion is not a simple issue. Texas recently passed the law banning abortion after six months even after receiving immense backlash.

Chief of research Michael Noble is with the OH Predictive Insights and shared Arizona's results.

“The data makes clear that, as of now, legislation criminalizing or overly restricting access to abortion would not be popular in Arizona. However, the data also tells us that voters do not see the abortion issue in black and white," Noble said.

For Arizona, the poll found 51% of voters disapproved of the Texas law and 39% approved. Eighty-seven percent of voters said abortion should be acceptable under certain circumstances.
