Gov. Doug Ducey has replaced all five members of the board that licenses massage therapists and investigates complaints against them.
This comes after an investigation from the Arizona Republic that looked into allegations of sexual abuse in the industry and found that the state Board of Massage Therapy did not always adequately investigate or take disciplinary action against massage therapists.
Reporter Anne Ryman of the Republic wrote the series of stories about this.
The Show spoke with her to learn about the move, and started the conversation by asking what precipitated the governor replacing all of the members of this board.
