Hold on to your beers — you may need them. There are disruptions in Arizona’s wine supply.
Kris Pothier, president of the Arizona Wine Growers’ Association, says shortages of glass bottles, corks and even labels caused shipment delays and other issues.
"We got our glass minutes before we bottled so we dodged a bullet there. I think that we had some brands that ran into some faulty glass because their providers were hunting for glass and found some stuff that wasn’t cured properly," Pothier said.
She says she is assessing the situation to determine possible long-term effects.
