More and more Arizona companies appear to be hiring.
New data from the Indeed Hiring Lab shows a more than 58% increase in job postings here, between February of last year and mid-October this year. That number outpaces neighboring states including Texas, California and New Mexico.
And more and more of those postings on the job search site Indeed.com include a requirement that new hires be vaccinated against COVID-19.
To understand what's driving the increased demand, The Show spoke with AnnElizabeth Konkel, an economist with Indeed Hiring Lab.
