What to expect at airports over Thanksgiving weekend

This year, Nov. 24 marks the busiest air travel day in the U.S. — the day before Thanksgiving.

Following a 2020 that was dominated by the height of the pandemic and a dramatic drop in flying, tens of millions of people will be braving airports then to get somewhere for turkey, stuffing and all sorts of cakes and pies.
