Arizona State University defeated the University of Arizona on the football field Saturday afternoon, winning the Territorial Cup for the fifth straight year.
The Sun Devils scored 17 third-quarter points en route to a 38-15 victory.
Cornerback Jack Jones was given the honor of Territorial Cup MVP after intercepting a pass from Arizona quarterback Will Plummer and running it 87 yards for a defensive touchdown.
While Arizona still holds the all-time advantage in the rivalry matchup, ASU has won eight of the last 10 Territorial Cups.
Arizona State is bowl eligible, meaning the team can extend their season if invited to play in one of 44 postseason games in the coming weeks.
