A storm system is moving into Arizona this week, bringing possible wind, snow and other winter conditions to the high country.
Meteorologist Emily Thornton is with the Flagstaff office of the National Weather Service.
"So we are going to see accumulating rain and snow starting late Thursday and continuing through Friday for areas above 6,000 feet, along the Mogollon Rim, near the White Mountain region, along the Kaibab plateau, and then the Chuska Mountains," Thornton said.
Thornton says dangerously cold temperatures are possible in the morning hours of Saturday and Sunday across much of the high country.
