Federal voyeur investigation underway at Grand Canyon National Park

The National Park Service is asking female victims to come forward after a series of surreptitious recordings that may have been taken during their visit to a Grand Canyon bathroom.

The investigation started after visitors to the national park’s Phantom Ranch reported a maintenance worker secretly recorded them using the toilet. The worker was fired, park officials said.

And they’re now asking women who may believe they were victims to come forward. Specifically, visitors who used the toilet at Indian Garden along the Bright Angel Trail on the north side of Phantom Ranch or at the Bright Angel Campground between November 2018 and September 2020.

Potential victims can fill out a form online at the FBI’s Park Service website or call 928-318-8770.
