Arts groups have ramped up their offerings late this year and are hoping to continue to present performances to in-person audiences more frequently in 2022, but nonprofits are still clearly feeling the effects of the pandemic.
Multiple organizations have been looking for new leadership to help take them into a more successful future. One of those is Arizona Citizens for the Arts, which named its new head earlier this month.
Patrick McWhortor is the group's new CEO.
The Show spoke with him and asked how his long history working with nonprofits in the state brought him to Arizona Citizens for the Arts.
