Tempe is trying to connect businesses with potential employees through its second citywide job fair.
There’s no one location for job seekers. Instead, they go directly to the business where they’d like to work. Employers who register for the Tempe Job Blizzard will have staff ready to welcome candidates and if possible provide interviews the week of Jan. 17.
Businesses must register for the free event by Friday, Jan. 7 to be included in the city’s online hiring directory and get posters and materials promoting their involvement.
Job seekers will be able to view positions starting Jan. 10. When Tempe held a similar event last July, it said the hiring directory was viewed more than 14,000 times.
