The pandemic has worsened an already weak Arizona education system, report finds

Schools are scrambling to keep kids learning and safe right now as omicron spikes and infections soar.

It’s a balance that’s been difficult to meet throughout the pandemic, and for much of it, kids were completely remote, with some learning online and some not connecting to their classrooms at all.

A new report from Education Forward Arizona and Center for the Future of Arizona shows some of the key metrics that have been affected.

The Show spoke with Amanda Burke of the Center for the Future of Arizona to learn about their findings.
