COVID-19 tests have been harder to come by recently in Arizona as cases surge to record highs. But every household in the U.S. is now eligible to order free at-home tests.
The government website to order the test kits went live Tuesday, a day ahead of schedule. The website is covidtests.gov.
All you need to do to order tests is enter is your name and address. The U.S. Postal Service says four tests per household will be shipped in seven to 12 days.
The idea is to order tests now to have on-hand later if you need them. If you need a test immediately, the website also provides information on how to find an appointment in your area. Information on COVID-19 testing sites in Arizona is also listed at AZDHS.gov.
