Sinema and colleague Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, have held up their party’s goal of passing voting rights legislation by refusing to help change certain filibuster rules.
An open letterfrom more than 70 Arizona women leaders had previously called on Emily’s List to publicly demand Sinema vote to change the filibuster rules.
