Arizona education group opens new campus, touts space to collaborate with other organizations

Late last year, Helios Education Foundation dedicated its new 65,000-square-foot Phoenix campus.

Paul Luna, the group’s president and CEO, says the design of the campus, on 32nd Street just south of Camelback Road, reflects the two states in which the group works — Arizona and Florida.

He says leaders had in the past decided against having a permanent space. That’s because they wanted to have a better sense of who the group was, what it tried to do and what its priorities are, and to let that dictate what might become its permanent home.

The Show spoke with Luna to learn more about how the campus came to fruition.
