Phoenix will host workshops for businesses interested in winning contracts with city-owned airports: Sky Harbor International, Deer Valley and Goodyear.
The Phoenix Aviation Departmentwill hold a one day virtual business summit followed by a two-hour bidding boot camp. Participants will learn about upcoming business opportunities, the ins and outs of the procurement process, certification programs and how to navigate the security badging process.
Contractors who’ve done work with the city will share their experience bidding for awards and meeting project requirements.
Deer Valley and Goodyear are general aviation airports and do not include commercial airlines found at Sky Harbor.
