Coronavirus cases are beginning to come down in our state, but COVID-related deaths and hospitalizations remain high.
State health officials added 7,567 more cases and 140 additional fatalities to its daily dashboard Feb. 1, but the number of positive cases in Maricopa County is dropping rapidly.
Hospitalizations have also begun to decline in recent days, but still only 6% of inpatient and 7% of Intensive Care Unit beds are available around the state.
So what does all of this mean for what’s next in the pandemic?
