Arizona Republic finds concerns over Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel's ability to run office

After serving as acting Maricopa County Attorney, Allister Adel was elected to a four-year term running the office in November 2020. In September 2021, Adel was being treated at a California facility for alcohol abuse and an eating disorder.

Reporting by the Arizona Republic indicates concerns from some of her colleagues and staff that Adel is struggling to run the office as she continues to deal with addiction.

Robert Anglen, Republic investigative reporter, wrote the latest piece about Adel.

The Show spoke with him to find out about the biggest concerns he heard.
