Son of Sonoran governor says major lithium deposit could be nationalized

A major lithium deposit in neighboring Sonora could be nationalized.

Alfonso Durazo Chavez, son of Sonoran Gov. Alfonso Durazo, made those  commentsto the outlet Proyecto Puente.

Asked if the major lithium concessions near the town of Bacadéhuachi now controlled by the massive Chinese firm Ganfeng International would be ignored by authorities, Durazo responded that they would “of course” be revoked but only if a pending piece of energy legislation is approved.
