Maricopa County looking to increase number of voting locations for upcoming elections

Expecting an increased interest in in-person voting and citing population growth, the Maricopa County Elections Department is looking for more voting locations for this year’s elections.

According to the department, it already has 151 voting centers for the upcoming primary and general elections, which it claims is a 50% increase compared to the primary election of 2020.

The county hopes to get that number up to 200 locations for this year.
