Nestle to build $675 million plant in Glendale

The company that makes Coffee Mate plans to build a plant in Glendale. The  Nestle plant eventually will employ 350 people.

Nestle has announced it will build a $675 million plant to produce beverages including oat milk coffee creamers as consumer demand has increased for plant-based products, according to the company

The plant is slated to open in 2024.

The Glendale plant will join 14 other Nestle food and beverage production facilities in the United States.

The project is eligible for up to $7 million in state tax subsidies if Nestle follows through on the commitment for 350 jobs, according to the Arizona Commerce Authority.
