President Joe Biden signed an executive order this week to ban Russian oil imports in response to the invasion of Ukraine and ongoing attacks there by Russian forces.
The ban comes as inflation and other factors had already driven U.S. gas prices to record or near-record highs. But at this point, a majority of Americans seem to be supporting the get-tough policies and new sanctions against Russia.
