The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, known as AHCCCS, administers the state’s Medicaid and KidsCare programs.
Some residents who are covered by the program could be disenrolled if they no longer meet financial or medical requirements.
AHCCCS is Arizona’s largest insurer with over 2.3 million people. Of those, an estimated 500,000 adults and children will need to renew their coverage.
Those people will receive a letter in the mail, and may need to provide documentation to continue their coverage.
