KJZZ's Friday NewsCap: What would happen if Arizona got rid of mail-in voting

KJZZ’s Friday NewsCap revisits some of the biggest stories of the week.

This week, Gov. Doug Ducey was one of the latest to speak out against the situation at the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. The department recently dropped nearly 200 cases, failing to file charges before their statue of limitations ran out. This comes amid calls for Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel to resign, as her ability to run the office has come under scrutiny.

Ducey also spoke out against the Republican lawsuit to end early voting, saying it is “ doomed to fail.”

To discuss these stories, a pending legislative special session and more, The Show spoke with Lorna Romero of Elevate Strategies and Stacy Pearson, co-founder of Lumen Strategies.
