Arizonans with questions about COVID-19 vaccines for kids can join a health department town hall Tuesday evening.
Pfizer’s two-dose COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-to-11 has been available since last October. But less than a third of Arizona kids in that age group have had even one shot in the time since, according to the state health department.
The Arizona Department of Health Services hopes to encourage more parents to get their young kids vaccinated in Tuesday's town hall. A panel of experts will take questions from the public starting at 6:30 p.m.
Participants can ask questions via Zoom at 1.azdhs.gov/VaccineTownhall or conference call at 855-756-7520 ext. 79679#.
Viewers can watch the event on Facebook Live at 1.azdhs.gov/3DaK9Xu.
