Wildfire season has started in Arizona. What to expect from this year's conditions

The Tunnel Fire continues to burn acreage in northern Arizona, signaling the beginning of wildfire season in the state.

A relatively wet winter brought more fuels, and the dry spring has made conditions ripe for additional destruction. And climate change will likely play a role in making wildfire seasons longer and more destructive.

To learn more about the season, The Show spoke with wildfire expert Steve Pyne, who is also an emeritus professor at Arizona State University and a prolific author of books about wildfires.
