The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation has announced new steps to increase the water level of Lake Powell.
The agency’s goal is to protect the ability to produce hydro-electricity at Glen Canyon Dam. One of the measures will add more water to Lake Powell from upstream, while the other will prevent some water from leaving Lake Powell.
