The Havasupai tribe in northern Arizona has extended its pandemic-related tourism suspension.
The Havasupai reservation sits within Grand Canyon National Park and is a popular draw for tourists.
Officials announced Friday morning that the tribe extended the tourism suspension through the 2022 season.
Tourists who’ve already booked reservations for this year are now being rescheduled for 2023. The tribe said no further reservations will be accepted for 2023.
