Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has signed the nation’s toughest abortion ban.
The law went into effect immediately after the signing, eliminating abortions in that state except to save the life of the mother or in cases of rape or incest that were reported to law enforcement officials.
Stitt had recently given a warning of sorts to Oklahoma Native American tribes to not attempt to undermine an abortion ban.
Prior to Stitt signing the ban, The Show spoke with Terrelene Massey, the executive director of the Southwest Women’s Law Center.
The conversation began by asking for her reaction to Stitt’s comments about Native Americans and abortion.
