Gas prices remain at record-breaking highs with no end in sight. AAA Arizona Spokesperson Aldo Vazquez says prices have steadily increased over the last month.
“We’re dealing with a tighter supply and increased demand that have pushed pump prices higher and this supply and demand dynamic, and volatile crude prices will keep upward pressure on pump prices for the foreseeable future,” Vazquez said.
Vazquez says that the highest average gas prices are in Maricopa County at $5.22 per gallon, while the cheapest gas price averages are in Santa Cruz County at $4.42.
