March for Our Lives protests for stricter gun control at AZ Capitol

After a mass shooting at a Florida high school in 2018, a student-led group called March for Our Lives formed to combat gun violence.

On Wednesday morning, eight days after the school massacre in Uvalde, Texas, the Arizona branch of March for Our Lives protested outside the state Capitol.

Demonstrators laid down nearly 300 white sheets on the Capitol lawn to represent victims of gun violence, and urged legislators to consider stricter gun control laws.
