It’s June 6, and considering this is an election year and many lawmakers want to go out and campaign, some were expecting the legislative session to be approaching its end. But the lack of a budget, complicated by a huge surplus and some party infighting, has kept the session trudging along.
However, there may be the slightest bit of progress to report.
