Climate change is driving refugees to the southern border. This advocate says the president can help

TV news shows migrants arriving at the southern border, headlines about record numbers of apprehensions by Border Patrol agents. But discussion surrounding the forces behind migration aren't always so upfront. And according to Amali Tower, much of them can be traced back to climate change.

Tower is the founder and executive director of human rights organization Climate Refugees and is an expert in migration. 

The Show spoke with her to learn more about climate migration, and how we see its impacts here on our southern border.
