The race for the Republican nomination to take on Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly in the race for the Arizona Senate has been without a clear frontrunner for months. But that could change now as former President Donald Trump finally came out with an endorsement of one of those candidates, Blake Masters.
The move didn’t come as a surprise to Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, who Trump has extensively criticized for not doing more to deny his loss in Arizona to President Joe Biden in 2020. But it certainly could make it even harder for him to win the GOP primary in August.
