The NBA commissioner told Yahoo Sports the investigation of Robert Sarver is getting close to the end.
The league’s review of the Phoenix Suns owner was launched in the wake of toxic workplace allegations, which Sarver has denied.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver told Yahoo Sports that the now seven-months-long investigation of Sarver is complex.
The league wants to know if Sarver has a pattern of racist, misogynistic and hostile incidents as owner of the Suns.
But it’s unlikely the NBA would release findings during the league’s ongoing championship round known as the Finals.
June 19 is the latest the Finals could end, and the NBA’s new year officially starts July 1.
The Suns did not reply to an email asking if they expect results of the Sarver investigation to be released in the time between the end of the Finals and June 30.
