The clock is ticking on the fiscal year. Arizona lawmakers are still working to approve a budget

Former Vice President Mike Pence was in Arizona on June 13 talking about border security. He was supposed to be joined by Gov. Doug Ducey, but the governor had to cancel after testing positive for COVID-19.

Pence was joined, however, by a number of state lawmakers. Those lawmakers are no doubt hearing the clock ticking down on the fiscal year, with no new budget ready to vote on yet.

To talk about all of this, The Show spoke with Howard Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
