Have you ever reached that stage of the day when you’re so hungry that all you want is a grab-and-go item to tear apart and eat as soon as you’ve paid for it? But it’s a poorly-conceived burrito or wrap, and right after your first bite, it collapses in a heap, and you’re left holding the outer tortilla as the ingredients fall out.
A team of four engineering students from Johns Hopkins University came up with an idea to prevent that from ever happening. The result of their collaboration is something called Tastee Tape.
The Show spoke with two of the students, Erin Walsh and Marie Eric, about their creation.
