Nearly 900 pharmacy technicians working at Walmart stores in Arizona are getting a raise to more than $20 an hour.
The company is offering to pay for workers who do tasks like pack and label prescriptions to become certified, which unlocks another raise.
Walmart hopes that giving pharmacy techs automatic pay increases more often helps the company hire thousands more nationwide by the end of the year.
