The Maricopa County board of supervisors Monday will hold a redistricting hearing at 1:30 p.m.
Officials will present new maps for the county’s five supervisor districts and give the public an opportunity to comment on the proposals.
State law requires redistricting every decade following the U.S. Census.
The methodology for drawing district lines uses, in part, visible geographic features, city and town boundaries, and undivided census tracts.
Those who can’t attend the meeting in person may watch online and also submit comments on the county supervisors’ website.
