The heat relief network in Pima County has expanded to include Kino Service Center in Tucson.
People looking to take shelter from extreme heat in Tucson can find respite at Kino Service Center beginning this week.
The center is providing bottled water, sunscreen and COVID-19 care kits to anyone who wants them. It’s the latest addition to Pima County’s Heat Relief Network.
Other cooling centers include Pima County libraries, Tucson neighborhood centers and local nonprofit and faith-based organizations.
Heat relief at Kino Service Center is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays, through Sept. 15.
