The state is setting aside over $1B for water augmentation and conservation. But will it help?

The state is setting aside more than $1 billion to try and secure Arizona’s water future.

In the final days of their recently ended session, lawmakers approved a bipartisan plan for both water augmentation and conservation.

Sorensen is director of research at the Kyl Center for Water Policy at Arizona State University's Morrison Institute for Public Policy. The Show spoke with her to discuss the key elements of the plan.
