If crude oil prices continue to fall, experts say gas prices are expected to follow. And AAA Arizona spokesperson Aldo Vazquez said gas prices are already starting to decline.
“There has been a drop in the global price of oil and that’s helped the national average of gasoline to fall for a second week." Vazquez said. "There are economic fears of a potential recession that’s leading to less demand for oil.”
Vazquez said Arizona’s highest average gas prices are in Maricopa County at $5.45 per gallon, while the cheapest can be found in Greenlee County, where it averages $4.77 per gallon.
