Water conservation measures at Grand Canyon's North Rim have been lifted

A monsoon storm recently disrupted water delivery at the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.

The storm knocked out electrical service to a pump house that moves water to the North Rim, and crews went to work quickly to fix the problem.

Because the park gets all of its water from a single spring, it is always under some form of water conservation.

But the lack of power forced it into emergency protocols, which shut down laundry and showers at the campground.

Crews recently restored power, so campers can once again clean up and wash their clothes.
