Weekend storms leave thousands in Pinal County without electricity

Weekend storms in Pinal County toppled power lines and left thousands without electricity.

Lily Quezada with APS says crews are making headway on repairs.

“Due to the extent of the damage, it is taking longer than normal to restore power," Quezada said. "However, we have made some pretty significant strides.”

Quezada suggests those without power to go to the APS website and look at the outage map for the latest information about their area.
