Maricopa County voters no longer have to go to a specific voting location. Instead, they can use any of the 200 sites across the Phoenix area. Emergency voting locations are open on Monday for those who may have difficulty casting their ballot.
Scott Jarrett is the county’s elections director. He told PBS’ Arizona Horizon the Valley’s polls are open early and will stay open late.

“Six a.m. they’re open, and they’re open until 7 p.m.,” Jarrett said. “Now if you’re standing in line at 7 p.m. — and hopefully those lines will be short — you will be allowed to cast your ballot.”
Jarrett says voters can track their mailed or drop box ballots, as well.
“And they can login to that, they just have to enter some personal, identifiable information,” Jarrett said. “They can see their ballot status when we’ve mailed it, when they’ve sent it back, once we’ve received it, once it’s been signature-verified and when it goes to tabulation.”
