Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee is opening up grant applications for AZ nonprofits

Arizona is hosting the next Super Bowl, and applications opened Tuesday for a related program that will provide grants to state nonprofits.

Committee chair David Rousseau said the initiative leaves a lasting impact for charities in the state beyond the big game in 2023, “It was embedded in the bid that there would be $2 million left behind minimum for the non-profit community post-Super Bowl and we’re just fulfilling that obligation.”

The committee has identified education, diversity, social justice, the environment as well as health and wellness as the pillars for grant monies.

Details on how to apply can be found at  azsuperbowl.com/legacy/.
