From 'fake' to Kari Lake: Ducey seems ready to shift governor candidate support

The dust from last week’s elections has begun to settle, as races from local to statewide have been called.

At the top of the Republican ticket will be former local TV news anchor Kari Lake, who beat out businesswoman Karrin Taylor Robson, who establishment Republicans had lined up to endorse in the primary — including outgoing Gov. Doug Ducey.

But now Ducey, a frequent target of Lake’s and the co-chairman of the Republican Governor’s Association, seems ready to support the candidate who he once called a “fake” and claimed was “misleading voters.”

To discuss that and more fallout from the primaries, The Show spoke with Howard Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
