Maricopa County saw record-breaking voter turnout in this month’s primary election. The official canvass of the results, or vote tally, is set to be released on Monday.
County Recorder Stephen Richer explained the details of the canvass to PBS’s “ Arizona Horizon.”
“It’s a detailed assessment of the election,” Richer said. “Who voted, how they voted, where they voted, what went well, what we would like to improve.”
Richer says the election in the county went well, adding all voting locations opened on time during the entire 27-day voting period.
