Glendale will host a free, all-day workshop for people interested in starting and growing a successful venture.
The workshop, dubbed ASU Startup School, is based on a series of classes created by ASU Entrepreneurship + Innovation and taught by staff from Glendale’s economic development office.
Startup School will help entrepreneurs craft an elevator pitch, identify a minimum viable product, understand the business model canvas and customer development and evaluate the costs and revenue needed to succeed.
The workshop will take place Saturday, Aug. 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Velma Teague Library in downtown Glendale. To register, visit the library’s website.
